Saturday 13th December

Group Session 2

 

The day started off with a 'Science of Sound' session.
Kosmos kicked off with the Protoculture track 'Silicon Sunrise'
then he talked about all sorts of vibrations, magnetic fields, millivolts,
sound pressure levels, analog & digital and the time and frequency domains.

We don't have any pics 'cause he was the photographer

 

Josh Adler from MIO spent some time chatting to the students
about the music industry and career options

 

Which at times involved some animated hand gestures

 

to a captive and appreciative audience

 

 

whilst Shinaz and Lauren prepared the lunch

 

 

We then cleared the dexs for Jeff (Splonge) to do his thing.
He brought along his PC based sound production rig
and took us through the production of track

 

 

everyone enjoyed the collaborative effort

 

 

which included laying down some vocal tracks

 

 

at the end of the day, it was time for the transport.
